The Good Enough Adoptee Workshop

(Will I ever Be Good Enough: Interrupting People-Pleasing, Self Abandonment, and Perfectionism)

As part of our exciting launch of the Adoptee Wellness Collective, we will be hosting our very first live event called The Good Enough Adoptee workshop!

The Adoptee Wellness Collective (AWC) has been a vision of ours for the last several years; we developed this collective with the intention of creating spaces of learning, connection, and healing within adoptee communities. Guided by mental health and wellness professionals with lived experience as adoptees, we aim to foster education, support, and belonging.

Workshop Details

Our first live gathering, The Good Enough Adoptee Workshop (Will I ever Be Good Enough: Interrupting People-Pleasing, Self Abandonment, and Perfectionism), will be held virtually on Zoom on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 7-9pm ET.

This workshop, for adult adoptees only, will explore the unique ways perfectionism and people-pleasing can show up in the lives of adoptees, and why these patterns often develop in response to adoption experiences. Together, we’ll reflect on what it means to feel “good enough,” explore the impact of “failure” and self-criticism, and consider steps we can take toward healing and greater self-compassion. *This group is not a therapeutic offering; therefore we welcome folks from any location to join. In the days following the webinar, participants will have the opportunity to join small groups for continued discussion. The workshop will be recorded. (Small group discussions will NOT be recorded).
